Nestled in the foothills of the Green Mountains, Vermont Academy was founded in 1876 as a co-educational, college-preparatory boarding and day school. Through creative problem-solving, our 260 students, from 30 states and 12 countries, learn to ask questions rather than merely to get the right answers. Our students collaborate in studying environmental, political, and social issues, becoming confident and independent learners whose leadership will make a difference.
