1. Are these forums really free?
Yes, they are free to families and students who attend. However, given that space is limited, we ask that families reserve spaces online so that we can get an idea of attendance levels and plan accordingly. If you have reserved space and find that you cannot attend, then we would appreciate it if you would inform us so as to give others a chance to go to the event.
2. Can I bring my 4-year old to the forum?
Everybody is welcome to come and attend all the presentations. However, sessions are designed for families with students who currently are in 3rd through 12th grades.
3. Do I have to be there at the beginning?
No, you don’t. You are welcome to come at any time and stay for as long as you wish. Of course, we hope you will stay for the whole forum.
4. Must I provide my email & other information when I reserve a forum space?
We want to be able to contact you if there are any schedule and/or forum changes that are pertinent to your participation at the event. The information also helps us to reach families that can benefit from future forums. Families do have the option to request further information from forum presenters. Otherwise, the information you provide is kept strictly confidential.
5. How do I get specific details about the forum in my area?
Once you reserve your spaces and submit your information, you will be issued a user ID and password. These will enable you to login to obtain forum details such as directions, parking, schedules, activity reservations (if applicable), etc. We urge you to check back on our site routinely to keep yourself up-to-date on the details as they become known. We ask that each family fills out only one reservation form. Multiple reservations from a single family will not be accepted.
6. Will there be chaperones for my children?
No, we do not provide chaperones. While presenters and student session leaders will conduct talks and student activities, parents are responsible for their children throughout the forum.
