1.
What other activities and/or duties do you have at your school
other than teaching?
I am also on the Technology Team for our school and I am the Ski Club chaperone.
2.
What has been one of your most memorable teaching experiences at
the school?
Last year we had the opportunity to take the sixth grade class to Cape Cod for three days. It was amazing to be in such a beautiful setting with our students and to have the opportunity to learn in such a rich environment. It seemed as though around every corner there were more amazing things for us to talk about and learn about. My favorite part, though, was the fellowship opportunity the trip provided for all of us.
3.
Describe one of your most interesting personal experiences at
the school?
To know that students and families pray for you as a teacher is beyond anything I experienced as a public school teacher. The willingness of these families to work with us as we educate their children is also amazing.
4.
If you were able to teach any subject you want, what would that
be and why?
I am in my dream job. I love science and technology, and here I sit creating my own science and technology program. I couldn't ask for much more!
5.
What do you feel is your school’s most positive asset?
Our Christ-centered approach to education is our most vital asset. Through our Christian world view, every other part that comes into play in our jobs seems to fall correctly in to place.
6.
What advice would you give a new student at your school?
Be prepared to be challenged, both academically and spiritually. There are many wonderful people at The Master's School and we're excited to see all that our new members can bring to our community.
7.
If you weren’t teaching, what would you like to be doing?
If I weren't teaching, I'd still be looking to find ways to work with young people and keep them energized and excited.
